Measuring Academic Progress (MAP)
MAP: A Personalized Approach to Student Success
The Association of Evangelical Schools in Lebanon (AESL) is proud to announce its partnership with NWEA and the implementation of the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment program. This groundbreaking initiative aims to revolutionize education by providing a comprehensive and personalized approach to student learning.
What is MAP?
MAP is a computer-adaptive assessment that accurately measures student growth in math, reading, language usage, and science. Unlike traditional tests, MAP provides real-time data that helps educators understand each student’s strengths and weaknesses.
How does MAP benefit students?
( 77)
- Personalized Learning: MAP helps identify each student’s unique learning needs, allowing teachers to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Growth Monitoring: By tracking student progress over time, MAP empowers educators to make data-driven decisions to support student success.
- Early Intervention: MAP helps identify students who may need additional support early on, preventing academic difficulties from escalating.
- Global Benchmarking: MAP allows for comparisons with students in other countries, providing valuable insights into school performance.
AESL’s Commitment to Student Success
By adopting MAP, AESL is demonstrating its commitment to providing the highest quality education for all students. This investment in assessment will empower educators to create personalized learning experiences that foster student growth and achievement.
