Vice President Dr. Bitar represents the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon in the Association of Evangelical Schools in Lebanon. He is the Principal of Tripoli Evangelical School from 2008 till Present. Along with handling the school administration, he still teaches at the school. Dr. Bitar is also a member of the Task force for Astronomy and Astrophysics in the LNCSR. And member of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and Societe française pour Astronomie Astrophysique SF2A.
